I’ve seen Radioactive performed live twice and I just love how the people start singing without Dan because he starts off on the drums and I LOVE how everyone even does the breathing together.
Vampire Weekend just finished their set..
The stage begins to rotate. Thirty Seconds to Mars is up next. There’s no introduction from a KROQ DJ which was a little odd. I see the singer on the drum stand with his back to the audience.
Did Jared Leto cut his hair? Hmm… Something is off here. This doesn’t feel very “Thirty Seconds to Mars-y.”
“Oh shit! Is that Chester?!” I yell out. No it couldn’t be. Could it?
Then he jumps off the stand in a very Chester like fashion.
Yes. It’s Chester fucking Bennington - with Stone Temple Pilots.
Then I freaked out. Couldn’t steady my hands enough to get a good picture. Luckily my sister noticed and took over. (Those pictures will be up soon!) and then, well… If you were there or saw the webcast, you saw how amazing the set was.
I’m so in love with Imagine Dragons right now.
And I finally get to see them live this Saturday and AGAIN in 2 weeks. :D
